Jeffrey Lane Lovett

Jeffrey Lane Lovett passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. Jeff was born June 29, 1962 to Kenneth Allen and Laura (Taber) Lovett in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

He graduated from James Bowie High School, Arlington TX in 1980 and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. Jeff obtained his private license to fly in his mid-twenties, then worked as a commercial pilot with Continental and eventually United Airlines. He was involved with the Lee County Sheriff's Posse in which he served as an active member for over 10 years and in serving held several positions including 2014 President, 2013 and 2015 Vice President, Arena Chairman and Assistant Arena Chairman. Jeff loved hunting, fishing, playing golf and most of all loved his children.

He is survived by his children: son Jared Lovett and his wife, Jessica of Hockley, TX; daughter Ashley Lovett and son, Cole Lovett both of Giddings, TX; parents: Ken and Laura Lovett of Tulsa; sister, Lori Tradup and her husband, Tom of Highland Village, TX; brother, Chad Lovett and his wife, Rhonda of Tulsa; and his nieces and nephews, Ethan and Ellie Tradup, and Addy, Josie, and Creed Lovett.
