Jeffrey J. Welter

Jeffrey Joseph Welter was born on March 18, 1961 in Dubuque, Iowa. He was the son of John and Zita Welter. He attended Wahlert Catholic High School. He graduated with a B.S. in business from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Jeff married Donna Ragan on November 23,1993 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jeff and Donna have one son, John. Jeff was also a father to his stepson, Robert. Jeff and Donna recently celebrated 22 years of marriage. Jeff was a dedicated employee of the John Zink Company for over 24 years.

Jeff was a devoted husband and father and was totally committed to spending quality time with his family. He was a world traveler who traveled to Europe, Asia and South America. When it was time to relax, Jeff was an avid and skilled golfer. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. His favorite sports teams were the Chicago Bears and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Donna and his son, John, from Tulsa; stepson Robert and granddaughter, Danyelle from Wichita, Kansas; mother, Zita Welter; siblings: Bill (Dorothy) Welter, Bob (Roberta) Welter, Kathy (Steve) Welter Holtz, and Mark (Sara) Welter, sister-in-law Lori Welter; nine nephews and six nieces, and his dog, Bruno.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, John Welter and brother, Dan Welter.
