Jefferson Cecil Wisby

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Jefferson Cecil Wisby will be 10:00am Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Jeff will lie in state for visitation on Friday evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Jeff passed from this life to eternal rest November 24, 2020 at Hillcrest Medical Center. He Was 82.

Jefferson was born on November 11, 1938 in Cravens, LA to his parents, Fred and Mattie (Perkins) Wisby. Jeff worked in the Oilfield for most of his adult life and owned OK-LA Consultants at the time of his passing. The patriarch that he was, always willing to give a helping hand or the shirt off his back for his family and friends. He will be remembered for always having a smile on his face and raw sense of humor we all loved. He was loved and cherished by everyone that knew him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife Maryann (Mahaffey) Wisby; his son's Jon Wisby, Kim Wisby, Chris Wisby and Alan Wisby.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Wisby; daughter, Rebecca (Wisby) Hayes; sisters Nona (Wisby) Cole, Bernice (Wisby) Burgess; brother Willard Wisby; 14 grandkids and 11 great grandkids along with a host of other family members and friends.
