Jeff Delano Morris

A Funeral Service will be held honoring and remembering the life of Jeff Delano Morris on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10 AM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Greg Aery officiating. Jeff passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 in his home surround by his family. He was 89.

Jeff was born September 4, 1928 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Jeff was a 1947 graduate of Sallisaw High School. In 1950 he joined the United States Army and served our country for two years during the Korean War. He then spent over 35 years as a Postman for the US Postal Service.

In 1959 he married his wife, Juanita (Melton) Morris in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Jeff enjoyed spending his time watching NASCAR or the news on TV and reading the newspaper each morning. For many years he spent his Friday mornings at McDonalds with friends listening to all kinds of music. Jeff always had a social personality. He loved everyone and could always find someone to talk to, even if it was a stranger.

Jeff was a member of the Moose Lodge 862 and the VFW Post 577.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Audie Morris; grandson, Chase Morris and cousin, James Morris.

Survivors include, his wife, Juanita Morris; two sons, Michael and Mark; daughter, Melissa Howland; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves a cousin, Pete Morris.

There will be a public viewing held from 9 AM till the time of the service on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.

Interment will take place at 2PM Friday, May 18, 2018 at Buffington Cemetery, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
