Jean Ardelle Watts

March 7, 1924 — December 6, 2016

Jean Ardelle Watts, daughter of Jessie C. (Womble) and Dewey C. Hasley passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home in Tulsa. Jean graduated from Webster High School, where she met the love of her live. She married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence Watts in September of 1942. They celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary prior to his death in 2009.

Jean loved the color blue, red roses, and vacationing in Hawaii. She retired from Sears Department store. After she "retired", Jean learned to prepare tax returns and worked for H & R Block. She also helped her daughter Sandra with her accounting service and she prepared payroll for her granddaughter Leslie's day care center. Jean always liked to stay busy. Jean is a long time member of Brookside Baptist Church. She loved to go to church and sang in the church choir. She had a real love of music. Jean spent her life taking care of her husband, home and she was absolutely dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was very excited when Raleigh, her new great-great granddaughter, was born and she was able to take a Fifth Generation photo.

Jean is proceeded in death by her husband, both of her parents and her brother, W.T. Hasley. Jean is survived by her sister, Donna K Parsons and brother in law, Bill of Allen, Texas; three children, Sandra Evans of Tulsa, Ginger Pond and husband, Gary of Tulsa, and Larry Watts of Tulsa; grandchildren, Michael Pond of Tulsa, Leslie Peterson and husband, Greg of Tulsa, Eddie Hicks of Tulsa, Sharissa Lambert of Tulsa, DJ Hicks of Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Anjelle Pond, Hunter Sidorakis and husband, Nick, Hank Peterson, Harper Peterson, Hutch Peterson, Rick and Chance Lambert, Shadow Lambert, Eddie Hicks and Carter Hicks; great great-grandchild, Raleigh Beaver.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, December 9, 2016 and a funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2016 both at Schaudt-Tulsa Funeral Service in Tulsa
