Jaxon Christian Slaight was taken from those who love him, too soon, in Montfort, Wisconsin at the young age of 6.
Jaxon is survived by his father, Tyler Christian Slaight, of Tulsa; his brother, and best friend, Joseph Benjamin Slaight; Randa Slaight, of Tulsa, his Mimi, and Paternal grandmother; and Paternal grandfather, Steve Slaight. Maternal grandfather is Troy Stephens, and wife Lisa, of Florida.
Andra and Jason Munoz, of Tulsa, are his aunt and uncle. He loved to be with his cousins, Max, Brooks, Tripp, and Champ. Maggie and Jack VanDaley, of Warner, are Jaxon's aunt and uncle. His cousins are Tristen and Jack Jr. He loved his Mimi Great and Bokka; Maxine and Ed Smith of Tulsa. Jana and Steve Mackey, of Tulsa, are his great aunt and uncle. His special friends were Chris and Leah Hutchcraft.
Jaxon was born on Aug. 26, 2008, and died Jan. 2, 2015. He felt so grown up to be in first grade this year. We would never see Jax without his sword, cape and mask. He was the strongest Super Hero in the world. He was never far from his brother, Joey. He and Joey took care of one another, and did everything together.
Jaxon would light up the room with his big smile that made his brown eyes twinkle. He had such a kind heart and Spirit, and he was grateful for the smallest things.
Jax loved Jesus. He loved to sing, "My God's not dead, He's surely alive! He's living on the inside, roaring like a lion!"
He was a precious gift from God, and we cherish every moment we had with him.
An Angel in the Book of Life wrote down our Jaxon's birth.
And whispered when she closed the book., "Too beautiful for earth".
There will be a funeral celebration of Jaxon's life on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at 10:30 at First United Methodist Church in downtown Tulsa located at 12th and Boulder. Reverend Aaron Tiger will officiate.
The family would like to thank Schaudt Funeral Service for the gracious and respectful way in which you have taken care of our family during this time.
