Jaunita Mae Davenport

Our beloved Juanita Mae Davenport, 64, went to be with our Lord on December 21st 2009. She was born April 8th 1945 in Clovis CA to Elvin K. and Grace Watts James, but lived most of her life in Okmulgee where she was a waitress at Coleman’s Drive In, The Glass Garden, and Kelley’s Restaurant. Juanita was greeted in heaven by her parents Elvin and Grace, her sister Betty Wilson, her brother John James, a son-in-law Russell Grayson, and many other relatives and friends. Left behind to celebrate Juanita’s life yet miss her are her children Susan Martin, Lisa Grayson and Blain McAnelley, and Scott and Brandy Davenport; her grandchildren Robert O’Canas, William Martin, Gavin and Dakota Grayson, Cayce, Margaret, and Baxter Davenport; and 3 great-grandchildren Javon, Makayla, and Brianna O’Canas. Also left behind are five brothers and their families; Eugene and Ila James, Roy and Bernice James, Robert (Bob) and JoAnn James, David and Sharon James, and Paul and Brenda James: five sisters and their families; Eula and Dewy Smith, Lorraine Veach, Mary James, Helen and John Johnston, and Carole and Bill Breshears, along with many nephews, nieces, their families, loved ones and friends. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, 24 December 2009 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Morris Oklahoma at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Breast Cancer Research.
