Janie N. Marcum

Janie N. Marcum, 97, of Glenpool, OK, passed away Friday, August 19th, while in the company of family members, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Janie was born in Wayne County, WV on March 9, 1914, a daughter of the late Annie (Queen) Merritt and Albert Merritt. Janie married Andy Marcum on January 27, 1930 in Henlawson, WV. Janie was preceeded in death by her husband Andy, two children Doris Holly, and Sidney Marcum, along with two sisters. Janie is survived by six daughters; Lois A., wife of Andrew Kirk, of Catlettsburg, KY; Carol, wife of Russ Ward, of Murrells Inlet, SC; Patricia Mooney, of Wellston, OK; Brenda, wife of Dean Cooper, of Tulsa, OK; Sue, wife of Duane Clemons, of Glenpool, OK; Debbie Marcum, of Glenpool, OK; two sons: Andy, husband of Carrie Marcum, of Winston-Salem, NC; Danny, husband of Brenda Marcum, of Glenpool, OK. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren,25 great grandchildren,10 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m.. at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22nd at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK, with Reverend Gus Hart officiating.
