On February 11, 2018, Janie Cathrine Holt, 78, joined her heavenly family for Sunday morning church. Her last days were spent surrounded by love and laughter with family and her husband George H. Holt. She was born in Pritchard, Alabama to parents Delcie Smith and Eli Strahan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delcie Smith and Eli Strhan, 2 brothers, 3 sisters.
Janie is survived by her husband, George Holt; children, Marianna Pierre and Todd Martchek, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 3 stepchildren, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Family Ministries Center in Fairhope, Alabama at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM on February 20, 2018. Interment will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama.
