Janice Kay Reed

Janice Kay (Osburn) Reed of Glenpool, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 18, 2015.

She was born September 10, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to her parents Walter Osburn and Callie Lorene (Jacob) Osburn. Janice married Bill Reed on February 14th 1986.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marlyn Sue Howard, her granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Shepherd and her stepson, Billy Joe Reed.

She left behind her husband, Bill Reed of the home, her son, James Lee Shepherd II, her daughter, Patricia Kay Seaton, three sisters, Coleen Fay (Osburn) Cole of Inola, Oklahoma, Pamela Yvonne Wright of Miami, Oklahoma, Carol Louise Teter of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, her brother, Ralph James Gregory of Texas, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, her Uncle Sammy Chisholm and Aunt Rose Chisholm of Tao's, New Mexico, Aunt Velva Stout of Glenpool, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews along with other family members and friends.

Janice loved the Lord with all her heart and was ready to meet him. She loved to study her Bible and pray. She liked to crochet. She loved her husband with all her heart and they had a wonderful life together.

Visitation is Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at First Baptist Church - Glenpool, Main & Broadway, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Brett Land will officiate.
