Janet Mason

Janet Wells Mason, 84, went to heaven on May 29, 2020. She was born in Stafford Springs, Connecticut on December 31, 1935 to Wellington and Verna Wells. Verna Later remarried Carl Stanford. She had five sisters and two brothers; Ronnie Wells, Lois Henry, Bruce Wells, Shirley Henson, Brenda Sherrill, Sandie Kiser, and Carla Mitchell.

Janet met her husband, A.J. Mason, during high school in Clovis, New Mexico. They were married on August 26, 1956. They had four daughters; Sherry Giles (married to Tom), Carrie McKay (married to Fred), Diana Wright, and Kristie Sullivan (married to Glenn). They lived in El Paso, Midland, Amarillo, and settled in Tulsa for over forty years.

Janet had six grandchildren; Tonya Giles, Seth Giles (married to Taylor), Jacey Wright, Mason Wright, Payton Sullivan, Shay Sullivan and three great-grandchildren.

Janet was a devoted wife and mother. She loved caring and doing things for others. She was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed walking, shopping, and cooking for family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, step-father, mother, grand-daughter, and sister.
