James (Tony) William Willis, born on January 12, 1930, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annette Willis.
Tony was the cherished son of James McWhorter Willis and Katherine (Kearney) Pyeatt. He is survived by his loving children Ronald Willis and wife Barbara of Tulsa, Ok; Jeanine O'Neill of Orlando, Fl; and Steven Willis of Tulsa, Ok, as well as his grandchildren James O'Neill and Jaina O'Neill.
Tony served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a Bomb Navigation Technician on the B-29 Superfortress. Following his military service, he dedicated over three decades to IBM as a Senior Customer Engineer maintaining mainframe computers in the greater Houston area before retiring with Annette to their lakeside home on Grand Lake o' the Cherokees in northeast Oklahoma.
In retirement, Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending his days fishing and basking in the serenity of lakeside living. His legacy lives on in the memories of those who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart filled with happiness.
