James Wiedemann, age 80 passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side Friday May 1, 2015.
James was born October 15, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Emil Wiedemann and Marguerite (Snow) Wiedemann. James served our country aboard the USS Wisconsin and was a faithful member of the USS Wisconsin Association. James worked for the Texaco Corporation for over 26 years where many lifelong friendships were made. James also served as the Past President of the Texaco Retirees Club. In his spare time James loved collecting Texaco memorabilia and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
James is survived by his wife: Susan (Kelly) Wiedemann; children: Robert Wiedemann and his wife Christine, MaryBeth (Wiedemann) Rosell and her husband Eric, Thomas Kapla and his wife Cyndi Kapla, Robert Kapla, Donald Kapla and his wife Kristi Kapla; Grandchildren: Barry Wiedemann, Nickolas Wiedemann, Hannah Wiedemann, Benjamin Rosell, Helen Rosell, Holly Kapla, Thomas Kapla, Donald Kapla III, and Payton Kapla; Great-grandchildren: Nicholas Kapla, Kenleigh Kapla, Isabella Pacheco, and Ava Pacheco.
A visitation will be held Monday May 4, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel. A Life celebration will be at 4:00pm Monday May 4, 2015 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel.
