James (Jim) Schuyler Kee passed away after a nine year battle with Prostate Cancer on Monday, November 20, 2017.
He was born December 6, 1947 in Summersville, West Virginia to Ann and Fayette Kee.
Jim was extremely proud of his service to our country as a Sgt. Marine during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service medal and the Rifle Marksman badge during his time in the service. He was also an athlete, an Eagle Scout and a 1966 Edison Eagle graduate.
Before Jim retired, he was employed at Sysco Food company as a regional manager.
Like many of his family members, he was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa.
On June 28, 2011 Jim married Kathryn Virginia Kee in Bentonville, AR, where they were surrounded by some of their closest friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Fayette Kee.
He is survived by his wife, Kay; grandchildren, Whitney (Elle) Harris, Ross (Jennifer) Cline, Renny (Rosy) Russell; and great-grandchildren, Kaedyn, Ja'Nya, Myria, Aiyanna, Jaycie, Ahnika, Autumn, Aydin, Beau, River and Rosabella.
Jim's friends and family feel completely blessed to have been loved by a man of such bravery, humor, faith, and kindness.
Viewing will be Monday, November 27, 9AM to 11AM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 27th 11 AM with Reverend Mark Tibey officiating at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
