James Robert Norman

James Robert “Bob” Norman, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years. He was born on August 8, 1941 in Tiger Mountain, OK to Pearl Eldon Norman and Pearl Ellen Maben. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Norman and Eldon Norman. Bob is survived by his three children: Daughters Debbie Lou Langston and husband Ollie of Wagoner, OK and Penny Sue Elliot of Wichita, KS, Son Robert Shane Norman of Houston, TX; 3 Sisters: Gladys Clark of Okmulgee, OK, Gertrude “Trudi” McKay of Chelsea, OK, and Ruth Clark of Tiger Mountain, OK; as well as 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and numerous other relatives and friends. Viewing for Bob will be held on Tuesday, May 24 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, on Wednesday, May 25 from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and on Thursday, May 26 from 8:00am to 11:00am. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home of Henryetta. Pastor Scott Randall and Todd Foreman will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the New Sonora Cemetery east of Henryetta.
