James (Jim) Richard Brandt, 71

Jim was born on 9/13/1952 in Scranton, PA Lackawanna County. He died on 12/11/2023 in Bixby, OK.

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years Annette Brandt, son, Tommy Brandt (Erica Brandt) of Syracuse NY, daughter, Nicole Tait (Tim Tait) of Nucla, CO, daughter, Lauren Brandt of Lakewood, CO. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Henry(Hank) and Juanita Brandt. Jim is survived by his sisters, Sue Ellis (Bill Ellis) of Longmont, CO, Kathy Parham (John Parham) of Tulsa, OK and Bobby Steen of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his grandchildren Bethany, Campbell, and Henry Brandt.

Jim graduated high school from St. Stithians College Johannesburg, South Africa in 1970. He returned to Oklahoma to attend OSU in January 1971 and graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a love for computer science. He worked for 28 years for Sparks Commodities and finished his career with Via Productions doing computer programming.

Jim enjoyed his commercial pilot license for hot air ballooning flying in Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky and Mississippi. He also loved serving the Lord through church technical services for nearly 40 years. Jim reignited his love of Ham Radios in recent years.
