James R. Bareta

James R.Bareta, of Little Flock, AR. formerly of Milwaukee passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the age of 62 in Jenks, OK.
Jim served as a member of the Marine Corps Reserves attaining the rank of Lance Corporal. His interests lie with military history, computers and software development, and hiking in the outdoors. In his younger years, Jim loved to scuba dive. Although Jim was fond of all animals, he had a special place in his heart for dogs, especially Huskies.
He is survived by his siblings Mark (Susie) Bareta, Jeanne (Dale) Blasewitz, Joseph (Mary Shepherd) Bareta, Thia (Brad) Walker and Greg (Laurie) Bareta; his step-mother, Katherine Shalek Bareta; his nieces and nephews; Andrew Powers, Melanie Bareta, Seth Carloss, Jake, Kayle and Dylan Walker, and Jared and Kyle Bareta. Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins as well as friends too numerous to mention.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John and Bernice (Abernathy) Bareta.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 5, from 4:00 PM until time of Service at 7:00 PM, at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
