James Mac Reavis, age 66 passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2009 at his residence in Mounds, Oklahoma.
James was born October 17, 1942 in Pampa, Texas to James Russell Reavis and Anita Colleen (Newman) Reavis. He graduated from Seminole High School in 1960. He attended UCLA on a football scholarship. He married Debra Jeanne in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 4, 1990. Some of James hobbies were history, fund raising and fishing. He retired in 2007 from Kimberly Clark where he worked as a clamp truck instructor.
James was preceded in death by his parents: James and Anita Reavis. He is survived by his wife: Debra Jeanne Reavis of Mounds, Oklahoma; his son: Jesse J. Reavis of Mounds, Oklahoma; his daughters: Kimberly A. Barker and her husband, David of Desert Hot Springs, California and Stacie (Gore) Mallette; his sisters: Judy Fletcher of Meeker, Oklahoma; Becky Whitener and her husband, Fred of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Jessica Minnich, Lauren Minnich, Maeve Mallette, Sean Mallette along with his niece: Mandy Meier, Russ Fletcher of Meeker, Oklahoma, Lance Price, Jessica Price of Edmond, Oklahoma along with many friends and acquaintances.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Dick Knox of First Baptist Church in Mounds will officiate.
