James C. Lemons

James C. Lemons of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the age of 79 years. James was born on September 27, 1944, on a farm in Hartville, Missouri, in Wright County to his parents, Ivan and Ailene Lemons. He spent his entire life on the farm, a place he cherished deeply, where he raised cattle and worked tirelessly putting up hay throughout the county.

In 1999, James met Shiela, whom he married later that same year on November 20th. Together, they shared their lives and made cherished memories.

James retired from farming and moved to Oklahoma in 2019 to be closer to family, where he spent his remaining years.

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Lemons, his father Ivan Lemons, his mother Ailene Lemons, his sons Marty and Mark Lemons, and his step-sons Leonard Jones and Joshua Jiles.

He is survived by his loving wife Shiela Lemons, his daughter Mona Goslee, his son Matthew Lemons, his step-sons James Jiles and Gene Jiles, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

At this time, no services are planned for James.
