James David Mcdonald

James David McDonald passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 72.
He was born on October 25, 1948, in Broken Arrow, OK to his parents, James and Betty (Brown) McDonald.

He met the love of his life, Brenda McDonald at the age of 7 and pursued her for many years before they were married on December 23, 1974, in Jenks, OK.  Jim worked as an electrical engineer for the past 20 years.  He served as a soldier in the United States Airforce and did 2 tours in Vietnam.  He loved to spend time with his family and spoil his 11 grandchildren.  He liked to camp, make things with his hands and was known in his family as Mr. Fix It.  He could fix anything.  

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James McDonald and Betty McDonald and his youngest daughter, Diana Lynn Sweet.

He leaves many loving memories to be cherished by his family, his wife, Brenda McDonald of Glenpool, OK, his daughters, Andrea Johnson of Springfield, MO, Brenda June McDonald of Tulsa, OK, Crystal Lyle of Berryville, AR and his only son Andrew McDonald of Sapulpa, OK, as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on February 19, 2021 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service in Glenpool, OK, with Pastor Brandon Lyle officiating.
