James D. "Jim" McFall passed away Monday afternoon, March 23, 2015 at his residence in Broken Arrow. He was born January 26, 1953 in Pineville, Louisiana to Samuel and Jessie (Olive) McFall. Jim served his country honorably with 9 years of submarine service in the U.S. Navy. Jim served on both the U.S.S. Permit and the U.S.S. Puffer. He married Earnestine Fortner on February 10, 1979 at the Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, California.
Jim and his wife started Host Electronics in 1984, a company in which they operated for 15 years. They contracted with corporations such as Flight Safety, AMI Medical, Xeta Corporation, and Maccor. They were "hands on" solders and known for their specialized techniques throughout the region. Jim began employment with Maccor in 2010 and worked there until his passing.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Steve Romero; his sisters: Billie Torres and Sandy Carrillo; and his stepson: Christopher Burnett. He is survived by his wife: Earnestine; his son: Gerald Burnett and his wife Sue; his grandchildren: Arielle, Ashley, Tyler, Melanie, and Hunter; his sisters: Betty Perkins, and Rose Williams and her husband Ron; his brother: Samuel McFall and his wife Sharon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial ceremony celebrating the life of Jim is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park, 5757 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa.
