James Arlin Sanford

James Arlin Sanford, age 76 passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
James was born March 2, 1933 in Tipton, Oklahoma to James Loy Sanford and Vera (Ellis) Sanford. He graduated from Southside High School in Altus, Oklahoma. James spent two years serving his country in the United States Army. He married LaVerne Graham in Elmer, Oklahoma on May 20, 1957. Before retiring James worked as a District Manager for Arkla Gas Company. James enjoyed playing his guitar, traveling, watching television, fishing spending time with his family especially his pride and joy - his grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents: James and Vera Sanford. He is survived by is wife: LaVerne E. Sanford of Glenpool, Oklahoma; his son: James R. Sanford and his wife, Linda Kay of Holdenville, Oklahoma; his two daughters: Linda A. Rock and her husband, Jerry of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Judy K. Moulis of Glenpool, Oklahoma along with his grandchildren: Emily Denney and her husband, Heath; Elizabeth Sanford, Brandy Terronez, Gene Terronez and his wife, Alishia; Gianna Moulis; great grandchildren: Brady Terronez and Everett Denney.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Virgil Roberts will officiate.
