Jake Ryan Westmoreland

Jake Ryan Westmoreland, a resident of Brighton, MA, was born on May 3, 1977 in Houston, TX to Geneva Sue Powell and Roger Westmoreland. He passed away on January 8, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA at the age of 32. Jake was a sergeant in the Army-National Guard. He was a disabled veteran. He loved music and his guitar. He also love the space program and photography. He is survived by his daughter Kylie Folse of Raceland, LA; Mother Susie and father Roger of Raceland, LA; one brother, Jordan Westmoreland of Raceland, LA and a host of other relatives and friends. Jake is preceded in death by grandparents Charlie and Juanita Powell and grandparents Jake and Lenora Westmoreland. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the Shurden Funeral Home. Services for Jake Westmoreland will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Nazarene Church in Henryetta at 2:00pm. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Celestin and Pastor Lowell Churchill. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta. The Honor Guard will be present to provide Military Honors.
