Jack Ronald West was born in the town of Poteau, Oklahoma to Julian and Melba West. His only sibling was Joe Harrell West. Jack attended Fort Smith Schools and graduated from Fort Smith High School. Afterward, he decided to serve our country by joining the Navy. He served in Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, and Alaska where he was a mechanic. When he came home, he began school at Spartan, and afterward he began to work for American Airlines where he worked for 38 years, while supporting his family including his wife, Georgia Ann (Adams) West, whom he loved very dearly. They were married on March 5, 1954 and decided to start a family. His first child was born, Lynn (West) Jones of Sapulpa. After that he had five more children: Ronette Goodenberger of Okmulgee, Mark West of Warner, Diane West of Sapulpa, Luke West and Georgia Luallen of Beggs. Jack loved to spend his time with his family going to bluegrass festivals, concerts, and other musical events. He also loved to work on vehicles of all sorts. Unfortunately following a heart attack he was hospitalized. After two days in the hospital he passed on January 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by Melba West, J.R. West, Jack G. Jones, Georgia A. West, Joe H. West, and Randy Luper. He is survived by his children; Lynn (West) Jones of Sapulpa, Ronette Goodenberger of Okmulgee, Mark West of Warner, Diane West of Sapulpa, Luke West of Beggs, and Georgia West of Beggs. He is also survived by all of his grandchildren; Dylan West of Tulsa, Subrena Northcross of Tulsa, James West of Beggs, Rainey Barnes of Beggs, Keagan Luallen of Beggs, Morgan West of Beggs, great-children; Vaiden West of Tulsa, and Silvia West of Tulsa.

Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, 220 S. Alabama Avenue, Okmulgee, OK. 74447.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Beggs Assembly of God, 400 E. Main Street, Beggs, OK. 74421. Burial will follow at Beggs Cemetery.
