Jack Newburn Compton, Jr. passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Tulsa.
Jack was born December 25, 1943 to Jack, Sr. and Dortha (Decker) Compton in Harlingen, TX.
He was a computer programmer for a health insurance company.
Jack attended Sam Houston State University and University of Texas in Austin.
Jack loved to help those in need, watching basketball and was a season ticket holder for many years at TU, quietly passionate and will be remembered as a loyal friend, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David. Jack is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Kuhlman and her husband, Ryan of California; sister, Charlotte Shaw and her husband, Wally of Texas; brother, Roy Compton of Texas; and three grandchildren; John Keener, Louis Higared and Kamden Kuhlman.
Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Schaudt Teel Funeral Service Chapel in Tulsa.
