Iven Troy Creason

Iven Troy Creason, a resident of Okmulgee, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the age of 92. He was born April 2, 1921 to Calvin Claborn Creason and Nancy Francis (Wallace) Creason in Mounds, Oklahoma. He was a deacon at the Living Way Tabernacle in Okmulgee. Troy loved spending time on the ranch, raising cattle and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Mae Creason in 2010; parents, Calvin Claborn and Nancy Francis Creason ; daughter-in-law, Rosalie Creason; grandson, Troy Dennis Creason; five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his three sons, Gene Creason and wife, Donna, Ricky Creason and wife, Virginia and Jerry Creason and wife, Carla; fiancé, Nellie Jo Millwood; two sisters, Ruth Dillard and Charlene Daniels and husband, Bob; one brother, Kenneth Creason and wife, Betty Ruth; grandchildren, Michael Creason and wife Lezlea, Ted Creason and wife Nina, Pam McCall and husband Darrel, Kim Williamson and husband Jerry, Mandi McCall and husband, Gary , Randi Roberts and husband Joe and Cassi Creason; great-grand-children, Whitney Long, Kimberly Carter, Lacy Cummings, Lindsey Creason, Katelyn Parker and husband, Anthony, Mackenzzie Creason, Dallas and Dalton McCall, Paige, Matt and Autumn Creason, Kimber, Kylie and Katelyn Williamson, Elizabeth, Clayton, Nathan and Hagan Fisher, Kish McCall and Amariah Faith Roberts; great-great-grandchildren, Daman and Dennis Long, Isaac Carter, Tristan and Trenton Cummings, Aden McCall, ChiAnn Lay, Brantley Gates, Jeremiah Parker, Aden and Daxton McCall, Karmon Williamson and Karson Groomer and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Family Restoration Center with Reverend Dale Copeland and Reverend Kenneth E. Creason officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Duck Creek Cemetery in Liberty Mounds under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home and Crematory in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Alex Proctor, Darrel, Dallas & Dalton McCall, Jerry Williamson & Joe Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clay and Nate Fisher and Matt Creason. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
