Inez Lackey Munda Mathis

Inez Lackey Munda Mathis, 93, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 in Henryetta. She was born October 17, 1917 to Mary Estella Parker and C.E. Lackey in Hitchita, OK. Inez retired in 1979 after 38 years of teaching in numerous districts in Okmulgee County. She is survived by her children, Patricia Munda Mace and husband Bob of Henryetta, Craig Munda and his wife Terry of Edmond, OK, step children, Bill Mathis of Henryetta, Joy Devere of Portland, TX, Jack Mathis of Georgetown, TX, Don Mathis of Panama City, FL, and Doug Mathis of Hitchita, sister, Brunell Lackey Moore of Kingston, OK, grandchildren, Jason Munda of Yukon, and Matthew Munda of Edmond, great grandchild, Kegan Munda of Yukon as well as numerous other step grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Mathis, step son, Dean Mathis and one brother, Charles E. lackey. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta with interment following at the Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, OK.
