Ilanece J Kinsaul

Ilanece June (Tettleton) Kinsaul, passed peacefully at 82 years of age, on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

Ilanece was born in Healdton, Oklahoma, on July 7, 1935 to her wonderful parents, Maggie Ellen (Humphrey) Tettleton and Beecher Bailey Tettleton.

She attended and graduated from Healdton High School in 1953. Ilanece met Clifton Arthur Kinsaul while he was stationed at the military air field near Ardmore, Oklahoma. They were married on June 14, 1956, and had four children. Ilanece enjoyed being a military wife and homemaker. As a military mom, she raised her children in many locations in the U.S. and Europe, and they all enjoyed many adventures. After her husband retired from the military, Ilanece began her career with the Department of Human Services as a secretary, and was promoted often. She worked 23 years before her retirement on August 7, 1996. Ilanece and Cliff were married for 50 years until his passing on November 14th, 2006.

Ilanece was always a hard worker who put many hours into helping with her grandchildren. She attended the First Baptist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and enjoyed the fellowship during their church dinners. She loved people, cats, classic movies, and a tall glass of iced tea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Arthur Kinsaul; parents, Maggie and Beecher (Mike) Tettleton; brothers, BurVon and LeDale Tettleton, and daughter-in-law, Melinda Kinsaul.

Ilanece is survived by her children; Avis Dean, Marla Cole and husband Scott, Russell Kinsaul, John Kinsaul and his wife Sherion, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside Memorial will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 17th at Duncan Cemetery.
