Ike Martin

Ike Martin, Jr. age 74 passed from this life on February 8, 2006 at Claremore Veterans Center, Claremore, Oklahoma.
Ike was born on April 5, 1931 in Proctor, Oklahoma to Ike Martin, Sr. and Betsy Reese. He graduated from high school and joined the United States Army. He moved to the Tulsa area 37 years ago coming from California. On June 1, 1955 in Raton, New Mexico he married the love of his life, Maria Sanchez Martin. Ike worked for the City of Tulsa as a Street Department Supervisor before retiring.
As a hobby Ike enjoyed fishing and doing yard work.
Ike Martin, Jr. was preceded in death by his father and mother: Ike and Betsy Martin; 2 sisters and his step-son: Clyde Claudio.
He is survived by his wife: Maria Martin of Tulsa; son: Larry Plummer of Tulsa; daughter, Joan Minor of Ridgeland, Wisconsin; his nephew: J. B. Roach of Stillwell along with 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
