Hugh Blythe Bergstrand

Hugh Blythe Bergstrand, 99, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017, at his home.

He was the widower of Marjorie Eileen (Lanham). Hugh married the love of his life on October 21, 1939 in Illinois. They celebrated 69 years of marriage together before her passing in 2009.

Hugh was born on November 7, 1917, a son of the late Bessie (Blythe) and Fred Bergstrand.

Hugh was very artistic, an avid wood carver, enjoyed stained glass.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army in WW II.

He worked as a Purchasing Agent in the Steel industry.

Hugh is preceded in death by his parents, a sister and his loving wife.

Hugh leaves many loving memories with a daughter, Claudia Johnson & husband Randy, as well as many other loving relatives.
Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity may be made in his honor.
