Homer Edward "Skip" Boyd, Jr.

Homer Edward "Skip" Boyd, Jr. son of Homer Edward, Sr. and Betty (Richards) Boyd passed away October 6, 2016 at his home in Tulsa. Skip was born September 24, 1944 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Skip graduated from McClain High School and served in the United States Army. He married Deborah Lynn Graham in Tulsa on June 12, 1987. Skip worked as a supervisor with Bovard Supply Company.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn Boyd of the home; son, Scott Boyd of Broken Arrow; son, Todd and his wife, Carmen Boyd of Beggs, OK ; daughter, Kristal Boyd of La Porte, TX; two sisters: Pamala Langford and her husband, Jack of Owasso, OK, Penny Boren of Skiatook, OK; grandchildren: Dillon Boyd, Nathan & Alexandria Boyd; stepchildren: Angela Alford and her husband, Richi of Kellyville, OK, April Wise and her husband, Mike of Sand Springs, OK, Amanda Graham of Sand Spring, Shawn Graham of Tulsa; step grandchildren: Kevin & Katelin Knowles of Kellyville, Ok, Austin, Landon & Jacob Wise, Gregory & Bryan Hollingshead, Jayden & Jayleigh Campbell, Drake & Isaac Graham; three aunties: Shirley Gibbs of Sapulpa, Ok, Nel Morgan of Keifer, OK, Jessie Barnhart of Keifer, OK; nieces: Janna & Jenni Langford, nephew: Ron Boren and there are also numerous other nieces & nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded him in death: his parents Homer E. Boyd Sr. & Betty Richards-Boyd; nephews: Chuck Boren and Kevin Boren; and step grandchild, Garrett Gamallo.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma.
