Henry "Ford" Tolbert age 90 passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at his Glenpool, Oklahoma residence. Ford was born on April 24, 1923 in Etna, Arkansas to Thomas Lee Tolbert and Montie (Harris) Tolbert. He graduated from Ratcliff High School in 1941. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp. and served his country in the Pacific as a pilot. Ford worked as a Foreman in the Plating Shop for American Airlines for twenty-eight years before he retired in 1980. He enjoyed going to Grand Lake, building computers and being a HAM radio operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ward Tolbert (1983) and his loving wife of seventy years, Sula (Sue) Mae (Nunnelee) Tolbert who passed away March 25, 2012. He is survived by his two daughters Vickie and her husband, Ben Dellavedova, Nancy Tolbert and her husband, Stuart Wilson, his grandsons, Ben Jr. and Paschal Dellavedova and his great grandchildren, Lorelei and Ben III and Peter James Dellavedova. In lieu of immediate services, the family will be having a celebration of Ford's life at a luncheon on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 12 noon at the Ritchie Ranch in Glenpool.
