Helen Ruth Tyler

Helen Ruth Tyler (82), passed away on June 3rd, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Michael Ray Tyler. They shared 61 years together.

Helen was born in Lone Grove, Oklahoma, on April 26,1941 to Burnell "Pete" Price and Celia Dunn Clay. She graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University

with an Associate of Art Degree. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Helen was a member of Reformation Church in Tulsa, Ok. She was passionate in her Christian faith, and well known as a generous and empathetic mentor. She loved every animal she met, and supported cats, opossums, raccoons, and birds of every feather. She had a lifelong love of botany and maintained a lush garden at her home, which became a haven for her grandchildren and generations of kittens. Helen will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, generosity, and determination. She was endlessly supportive of her family and friends and all their passions.

She is preceded in death by her parents and dozens of cherished animal companions.

Helen is survived by her husband Michael Tyler, son Marc Tyler, daughter-in-law Colleen Tyler, granddaughter Sean Tyler and fiancé Niles Foster, and grandson Jude Tyler.
