Helen R. Harris

Helen (Reaves) Harris age 71 passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Helen Harris was born to the union of the late Gladys Reaves and Delbert Elmore on February 10, 1940in Ashland; Helen attended Riverside High School and Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI. She was a former employee of GE Medical Systems, Boeing, OAI and retired in 2006. She was a trail blazer in the field of engineering as a Manufacturing, Industrial and Quality Engineer. Furthermore, she was an avid professional fisher with the Basses Bells, and loved tending to her fish farm in Mannford. Helen was preceded in death by her son: Melvin Theus III. She is survived by her husband: Al Harris of Owasso, OK, her sister: Aluria Elmore; daughters: Sherry (Ira) Davis of Milwaukee, WI, Cynthia May of Milwaukee, WI; son: Maurice Harris and his wife Tiffany of Owasso, OK; Grandchildren: Makin Naseer, Chantella Brown, Raven L. Davis, Jonathan Harris, Anthony Harris, Trey Harris and great grandchild: Amyah Naseer along with other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17th at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
