Helen met and fell in love Gary S Snider; they spent many years traveling the United States and world. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide for 35 years, she loved caring for people. Oh how she loved her daughters and they spent countless hours laughing, garage sales and traveling. But, her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were the JOY of her existence. The most important person in her life before any other was Jesus. She loved family and friends and spent countless hours with nieces and nephews. She was a feisty vibrant woman whom enjoyed daily walking and reading. She loved life! She has left her mark on the people she loved. She loved a new adventure. Her zest for life was contagious. In 2015, she became restless with the noise of the big city, she longed for a little house in the woods. She purchased a summer home in Breezy Point, MN to be closer to her daughters and Grandchildren. She loved hearing the loon’s song and the lore of her childhood home range to explore again. She loved her little home. She lived in many places, Nebraska, Minnesota in Deerwood, Duluth and Two Harbors. She was a strong supporter of The American Soldier! She had three young Soldiers at Fort Leavenworth she wrote letters to and sent them gifts since 2010.She was also a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. She volunteered in her community for the homeless and in the church preschool. She was active within her church communities: Fellowship Bible Church, Parkview Baptist and Suncrest Baptist.
