Haskel Allison

January 25, 1963 — April 8, 2025

Haskel Turner Allison, 62, of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed away on April 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 25, 1963, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Patricia Essman, Haskel lived a full life defined by loyalty, laughter, and deep devotion to those he loved.

A true family man, Haskel was married to the love of his life, Tammy Allison, for 42 wonderful years. Together, they raised two children, daughter Kayla Baker and son Jeremy Allison, and built a life centered around faith, family, and fun. Haskel was a proud and involved grandfather to Braxton, and Jordan. He could often be found cheering on his grandkids at sporting events, showing up with a big smile and an even bigger heart.

Haskel was a hardworking man with calloused hands and a heart of gold. He was the guy you could count on, whether you needed a hand, a laugh, or just someone to brighten your day. He had a natural gift for bringing joy - always the life of the party, always cracking a joke, and always showing up with a goofy grin. He never outgrew being a big kid at heart.

He loved the outdoors - whether he was hunting, spending time on the water, or playing an occasional round of golf. He was a proud OU fan through and through, and his passion for sports extended to coaching his son's little league teams back in the day. But no matter the hobby or the event, family was always at the center. That's who Haskel was - a man whose greatest joy was simply being with those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Allison of Jenks; his daughter Kayla and her husband Doug of Milton, Florida; his son Jeremy and his wife Anna, along with their children Braxton and Jordan, of Glenpool, Oklahoma. He also leaves behind his sister Jolene of Pensacola, Florida; his brother Casey Warren and wife Dianna of Wister, Oklahoma; his brother Johnny Warren and wife Julie of Wister, Oklahoma; his brother Fred Allison and wife Kim of Poteau, Oklahoma; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will miss his laugh and his presence dearly.

Haskel was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Essman, his granddaughter Amelia Baker, and his brother Michael Warren.

Haskel's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. He will be remembered as a man who worked hard, played hard, and loved even harder. His laugh will echo in our hearts forever.
