In Loving Memory of Harry Franklin Koons "Frank"

Harry Franklin Koons, affectionately known as Frank, departed from this world on Monday, September 11, 2023, in Bristow, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. He was born on February 1, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to his loving parents, Harold and Dorothy Koons.

Frank's life was a testament to enduring love. Sixty-one years ago, he joined in matrimony with the love of his life, Sondra Kay Mumford. Their journey together was one marked by unwavering devotion and countless cherished moments.

Professionally, Frank was a Chemical Engineer who spent many dedicated years with Western Supply Company. Even after his retirement, he couldn't resist the urge to lend a helping hand. Frank had a remarkable gift for generosity and hard work. For around five years, he assisted his son-in-law in a cabinet shop, and later, he contributed his skills to Hoey Construction for approximately six years. His work ethic and desire to help others were truly remarkable.

One of Frank's greatest joys was found on the golf course. He was an avid golfer who relished every opportunity to tee off. Whether playing around Grand Lake or as a member of the Oaks Country Club in Tulsa, golf was his passion.

Frank was a man of action who never hesitated to lend a hand or offer his support to those in need. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with Frank's wishes, there will not be any formal services held.

The arrangements to commemorate his life have been entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service, located at 1329 East 151st St. Glenpool, OK 74033.
