Harrell D. Cauthron

Harrell D. Cauthron age 80 passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Harrell was born February 4, 1929 in Wister, Oklahoma to Ezra Cauthron and Ionia (Sluder) Cauthron. He attended Wister High School. He joined the United States Army March 29, 1946 and was honorably discharged.
Harrell married Patricia Ruth (Kennison) Cauthron on July 10, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked for McDonnell Douglas as a Aerospace Inspector and retired in 1992.
Harrell enjoyed taking daily walks through the neighborhood with his dog, Prissy. He also liked doing yard work and could make almost everything grow. Harrell was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Ionia Cauthron along with five siblings.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Cauthron of Glenpool; his three daughters: Sharon Salyer of Broken Arrow, Gail Cooper of Texas, Gaye Cauthron of Garland, Texas, his two sons: Larry Crawford and his wife, Linda of Collinsville, Barry Cauthron and his wife, Jo Anne of Sand Springs; his two brothers: Harlan Cauthron and his wife, Sandra of Heber, Arizona, Grady Cauthron and his wife, Joyce of Oklahoma City, his four sisters: Ruth Sillings of Tulsa, Shirley King and her husband, Bob of Ada, Retha Houck widow of, Paul of Shawnee, Margaret Salazar widow of Al of Fort Worth, Texas along with twelve grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate.
