Harold Lester Henderson Harold Lester Henderson, a resident of Chandler, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 in Okmulgee at the age of 84. He was born Friday, May 6, 1927 to George and Magnolia (Poynter) Henderson in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Magnolia Henderson, infant daughter, Delena Kay Henderson; three brothers, Marshall “Curly” Henderson, Russell Henderson and Kenneth Henderson and two sisters, Willene Pugh and Bette Granger. Survivors include his wife, Claudia “Sally” Henderson of the home; children, Steve Reid, Cheryl Christenson and husband, Don, Tina Westlake, Harold Henderson, Jr. and Levi Holmes; step-daughter, Johnna Gelfenstein; two sisters, Delena Montgomery and husband, Jake, and Arylene Haynes; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Brother Jack Vance officiating.
