Guadalupe Alfonso Resendiz

Guadalupe Alfonso Resendiz Rodriguez, 68, of Glenpool Oklahoma, passed away on January 8th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Lupe as he was known to family and friends was born on February 15, 1954 to Carmela Resendiz Rodriguez in Mexico City.

Lupe pursued a career in Law Enforcement in Mexico City until 1989 when he migrated to the US and over the last 30 years he held multiple Technical positions up until his retirement in 2020. Lupe found joy in traveling to warm places as he loved the beach, enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Lupe was preceded in death by his 10 year old son Luis Ivan Resendiz. Lupe is survived by his wife of 48 years Teresa Resendiz, his two sons Omar and Erick Resendiz, 5 grandchildren and multiple loved ones.

A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at his home on Saturday January 14th, 2023 at 12 pm. A memorial will also be held at Parroquia De Nuestra Señora De Guadalupe in Mexico City on January 17th, 2023 at 6 pm.
