Gretchen Bohm Olsen died on November 1, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 7, 1949, in Flint, Michigan, to Walter Bohm and Marion Scott Bohm. She married Stephen Olsen on June 5, 1970, in Flint, Michigan.

Gretchen was a lifelong supporter and employee of non-profit organizations, including Big Brothers and Sisters and Planned Parenthood. She loved to sail, water ski, and to spend time at her home on Clear Lake, Michigan. When younger she was an avid swimmer and cross-country skier, and lived for many years in Ketchum and Hailey, Idaho, enjoying the outdoors. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marion Bohm, and an infant daughter, Jessica Brooke. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stephen Olsen, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sisters, Cathryn Clark of Austin, Texas, and Francesca Jewell, of Hailey, Idaho; her daughter and son-in-law, Erika Olsen and Scott Paul of Unionville, Connecticut; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jennifer Olsen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her five grandchildren, Will, Hailey, Annika, Michael and Samantha, and many nieces and nephews.
