Gregory Lendell Brown

June 11, 1971 — May 30, 2023

Gregory Brown, a beloved Spouse, Father, and Son. Gregory has been called to his eternal resting place on May 30, 2023. He entered this world on June 11, 1971, in Tulsa, OK, born to Theophilus and Chloe Brown.


Affectionately known as Greg, who was known for his love for his family and friends, will be remembered as an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, always cheering on his favorite team with enthusiasm. Greg loved good music, like Earth Wind and Fire. It was understood when he listened to it, he felt it in his soul.


Greg possessed a strong work ethic, which he displayed throughout his law enforcement career. For over 20 years, Greg served in different roles with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. In addition, he pursued his law enforcement professional ambitions through his work at the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation, and Grand River Dam Authority. Greg's law enforcement career awarded him with various departmental honors and assignments all performed with his deep commitment to serving and protecting his community. Greg retired from law enforcement and began a new career at American Airlines, as a base maintenance planner where his meticulous nature and dedication shone through.


However, it was his role as father and husband that truly defined him. Greg took on the role of coaching for his son, Jordan's JTA (Jenks Trojan Athletics) football team when Jordan was in 5-7th grades. Greg enjoyed imparting his love for the game, knowledge and instilling a sense of discipline and teamwork.


One of his daughter Ava Jayne's fondest memories was when Gregory patiently taught her how to ride her bike, providing a sense of guidance and empowerment that she will always cherish.


Greg declared Grand Cayman Island as his favorite place on earth, while on a trip with Amy. Exploring the vibrant underwater world while snorkeling brought him a sense of tranquility and joy, allowing him to appreciate the wonders of nature.


Greg is preceded in death by his father, Theophilus Brown; grandmother, Wilma Franklin; grandfather Jesse Franklin: grandmother, Sedalia Brown: uncle, Douglas Brown Sr: brother, Christopher Brown.


Greg is survived by his loving wife Amy, his cherished son Jordan, and his beloved daughter Ava Jayne. He is also mourned by his mother, Chloe Brown Allen; brothers, Marlon Brown, and spouse Monya, and Michael and spouse Tishaunna; sisters, Joy Brown, Kori Brown, and Brandi Brown. Additionally, he leaves behind his mother-in-law Jayne Exon, father-in-law Duane Jeffers, and Father-in-law, Walter Exon.


Greg will be remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws: Jay Exon, Jason Jeffers and spouse Jessica Jeffers, Jonathan Jeffers, and Carter Jeffers, Julie Coombs and spouse Adam Combs, Ashley Jeffers, and spouse Mika. In addition to his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. and cousins.


Greg Brown touched the lives of many with his larger-than-life presence, spirit, and smile. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. May he find eternal peace in his heavenly abode, knowing the love he shared lives on in the hearts of his beloved family and friends.
