Gloria Jean Risner age 64 passed away at Hillcrest Healthcare System, Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 29, 2005..
Gloria Jean was born March 21, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio to Wallace Reid Whitaker and Lovetta Taylor Whitaker. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1992 coming from Belle Center, Ohio. Mrs. Risner was a homemaker. Gloria loved her pets €“ she had 3 dogs and 2 cats. Gloria got great pleasure out of watching old movies, television and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her father: Wallace Reid Whitaker and her grandmother: Elizabeth Ann Whitaker.
Gloria Jean Risner is survived by her husband, Clifford D. Risner; her mother, Lovetta Whitaker; two brothers: John and Robert Whitaker; five sisters and their families: Shirley, Helen, Marlene, Diane and Linda. She is also survived by three sons: Philip Risner and his wife, Lisa; Clifford D. Risner, Jr., Timothy L. Risner; two daughters: Vicki J. Highers and her husband, Charles, and Teresa J. Risner. Mrs. Risner was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will take place at the family's convenience.
