Glenn Edward Dearmond

Glenn Edward DeArmond, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born February 16, 1923 to Ralph and Myrtle (Forester) DeArmond in Weleetka, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Myrtle DeArmond; son, Clint DeArmond and numerous sisters and brothers. Survivors include his son, David DeArmond and wife, Theresa of Okmulgee; daughter, Martie Rodriquez and husband, Ric of Sapulpa; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and other numerous relatives. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka with Pastor Charlie Jackson officiating. Services are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
