Glenn Earl Dixon age 56 passed away Friday, April 22, 2005 at his residence in Jenks, Oklahoma.
Mr. Dixon was born March 23, 1949 in Jennings, Louisiana to Glenn Dixon and Gloria Pulliam Dixon. He graduated in 1967 from Medicine Lodge High School in Medicine Lodge, Kansas and was an Eagle Scout. Mr. Dixon met Cheryl LaVonne Raymond and they were united in marriage December 18, 1969 in Bairoil, Wyoming.
Mr. Dixon resided in Jenks, Oklahoma for 28 years coming from Bairoil, Wyoming. He worked for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as a dispatcher and retired in 1997 after 20 years of service. As a hobby he enjoyed working with stained glass. He was an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Team member of Beat the Heat drag racing organization and a member of the Jaycees.
Glenn Earl Dixon was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Dixon.
Mr. Dixon is survived by his mother: Gloria Dixon of Waukomis, OK; his wife: Cheryl Dixon, Jenks, OK son: Christopher Dixon, Jenks, OK; two brothers: Mike and his wife, Linda, Del City, OK and Scott and his wife, Patti of Elk City, OK A celebration of life service will be held at the Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.
