Glen Dale Sanders

Glen Dale Sanders, Jr., a resident of Okemah, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at the age of 63. He was born October 17, 1948 to Glen Dale Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Jones) Sanders in Okemah, Oklahoma. Mr. Sanders graduated from Mason High School and was a musician. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon Alcorn and son, Jeffrey Scott Sanders. Survivors include his four children, Keri Sanders of Oklahoma City, Shane Gabriel Sanders of Wisconsin; Tara Sanders of Wisconsin and Dustin Strenve of North Dakota; two sisters, Pam Condict of McAlester and Teresa Russell of Okemah; one brother, Larry Sanders of Okemah and three grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
