Geraldine “Jerry” Margarette Radebaugh Geraldine Margarette Radebaugh, 83, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to sleep in the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, February 11, 2011. Daughter of John Henry Lloyd (Jack) and Margaret Buchanan Lloyd, she was born on May 1, 1927 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She graduated from St. Michael’s Catholic School in 1945. Geraldine (Jerry as she is known to family and friends) married Theon Leroy Radebaugh, also of Henryetta, on March 24, 1946. They began their life together in Henryetta, moved to Okmulgee, Okemah, Weleetka and then back to Henryetta. She was a member of the Church of Christ since she was 10 years old. Besides being an active member of her church, she was also blessed as a skilled carpenter, and admired for her beautiful poetry and writings. Jerry was a loving, devoted Christian wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed but her legacy and strong Christian values will live on through the lives of those whose lives she has touched. (Rev. 14:13) Her life will long be cherished by her four children, Johnny Phillip Radebaugh and wife, Linda of Okemah, Jerry Lynn Murdock and husband, Michael of Yukon, Timothy Leroy Radebaugh and wife, Lexie of Bartlesville and David Roger Radebaugh and wife, Tina of Henryetta; one sister, Lorene Long of Midwest City; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Theon Leroy Radebaugh and sister, Louise King. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Henryetta with Rex Walcher officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, Kevin Radebaugh, Curtiss Hudson, Anthony Hudson, Jeremy Radebaugh, Chad Radebaugh, Trent Radebaugh, Chris Radebaugh, Cory Radebaugh and Brian Radebaugh. Honorary Pallbearer will be Stephanie Erin Willison. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may send their condolences to www.shurdenjackson.com
