Geraldine Jane Jones

Geraldine Jane Jones, 74, of Okmulgee, OK, passed away Saturday, May 6th, at her residence. .

Geraldine was born in Cherokee, OK on May 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Ralph and Vera (Coss) White. She graduated from Dacoma High School and went on to attain an Associate Degree in Nursing. Jane as she was known to friends and family was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Leisure Manor.

Jane was a member of Second Baptist Church of Okmulgee. She loved attending with her friends and not wanting to miss the Adult IV Sunday School class she "drove herself" in her wheelchair to services.

A lady of varied interest she could be found camping and fishing on the lake, or planting flowers in her yard. You might have encountered her on a shopping trip to Walmart where she checked out the latest supplies for her Sewing and Crocheting hobbies. However, above all these endeavors, her greatest joy and love in life were her grandbabies and her dogs.

Geraldine is survived by her granddaughter Kacy Southwick and great granddaughter Madison Cooper who will miss her deeply.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Dixie Smith and Glenda Trekell; son, Danny Gordon; grandsons, Joshua Gordon & John Holata.
