Geraldine Daniel

Geraldine Yawn Daniel passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25th, 2021, at age of 89 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Geraldine or Gerry as she was known to friends and family was born May 07th, 1931 in Spurger, Texas. She was the daughter of the late J. O. and Lydia Yawn. She grew up with 5 siblings.

She married the “Love of her Life” the late Gerald David Daniel on September 30th, 1950 in Kirbyville, Texas. They made their home in Nederland, Texas where they raised three sons Gary, Dirk and Paul. She was proceeded in death by her husband Gerald and two sons Gary and Dirk.

Gerry was a homemaker for many years and then went into the banking business with Nederland State Bank (Bank of America) where she retired in 1989. Gerry’s biggest joy in life were spending time with family, cooking and baking. She will be always be remembered for all her wonderful desserts. Especially her banana pudding.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce , wife of Joe Ramirez of Nederland, TX, brother Wayne Yawn of Nederland, TX, son Paul, husband of Renee Daniel, of Owasso, OK; Gerry is also survived with 6 grandchildren, Christa Daniel, of Austin, TX, Andy Daniel, of NC, Cassie Daniel, of Rochester, MI, Melissa Daniel, Chicago, IL , Shannon Daniel and wife Heavenly, of Chula Vista, CA and Mitch Daniel and wife Emily, of Owasso, OK along with 13 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren.
