Gerald Wayne Bell, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at the age of 62. He was born June 22, 1950 to Lewis and Wynema (Harriman) Bell in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He attended Oasis Christian Fellowship in Okmulgee but when asked about his religion, he would say he is a child of God. He was a very good witness for Jesus and he would talk to people about Jesus all the time. Gerald enjoyed playing the guitar and he loved to sing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Wynema Bell; granddaughter, LeAnn Haney; niece, Renoka Ann Morino and step-son, Tommy Gene Haney, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Lola LaVerne Bell of the home, four children, Monique Fuqua and husband, Cade of Cordova, TN, Tonnya Rickabaugh and husband, Mike of Enid, Jarilyn Haney and husband, Michael of Okmulgee, Lewis Bell and wife, Cecilia of Louisburg, KS and step-daughter, Teresa Stevens of Okmulgee; three sisters, Rhonda McIntosh and husband, John of Broken Arrow, Renoka Woody and husband, Woody of Broken Arrow and Gwen Stalbird and husband, Robert of Okmulgee; one brother, Darrell Bell of Broken Arrow; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma with Brother Jerry Page officiating. Family will greet friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Michael Haney, Michael Haney, Jr., Michael Rickabaugh, James Sperry, Aaron Stevenson and Lewis Bell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Stalbird, Neal Hider, Seth Kellogg and Robert Lloyd.
